Education - 1800's Farm Life - Field Trip

Event Description:
What was life on the Augspurger farm like for a child in the 1800s? From farm chores to agricultural advancements, we'll even take a break for some traditional toe-tapping fun. Travel back in time and learn from the perspective of standout members of this groundbreaking Butler County family and their community.
Task:
Volunteers will be provided with a written lesson plan to understand all aspects of the field trip beforehand, and will be asked to assist with the program setup and teardown of activity spaces, and assist in the lesson presentation.
Location:
Chrisholm MetroPark (2070 Woodsdale Road, Trenton OH 45067)
Weather:
We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
