Education - Sourdough For Beginners
Event Description:
This introductory class covers the fundamentals of sourdough breadmaking. Participants will learn where to source sourdough starter, how to feed and maintain it, and the fermentation process, as well as basic techniques for mixing, shaping, and baking. The class is designed for those with little to no experience and aims to provide a solid foundation for baking sourdough at home.

Saturday, July 18th, 9:30 am - 11:30 am , Fairfield Community Art Center 411 Wessel Dr, Fairfield, OH 45014
Task:
Welcome participants, set up and clean up stations, assist staff and families during program.
Weather:
We will work through light rain and snow but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. Please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodations to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
