Education - Pioneer Village cleaning day
Event Description:
Join MetroParks Staff for a fall cleaning of our Pioneer Village at Governor Bebb MetroPark. We'll be opening up all the cabins to prepare them for the upcoming field trip and programming season!
Task:
We are looking for Volunteers who are comfortable and able to help with the cleaning of cabins. Tasks include, but are not limited to. Sweeping and mopping floors, clearing cobwebs, cleaning windows, moving firewood, making beds, dusting rugs, and more
Volunteers must be 14 and older
Times and Location: Thursday, September 3rd, 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Weather:
We will work through light rain and snow, but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. Please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
