Education - Fireflies with MetroParks
Event Description:
In the evening twilight, join us on a short and easy hike to search for fireflies. Learn from MetroParks educators about why and how they make their lights and how you can attract them to your own backyard as you take part in a tradition as old as time.
Task:
Assist staff in setup, putting out signs, meet n greet participants, and a hike sweeper.

Harbin Park, 1300 Hunter Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014
Weather:
We will work through light rain, but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. Please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
