Naturalist & Educational Programs - Flashlight Egg Hunt - Program Assistant

Event Description:

When the park is dark, your flashlight will be your guide! Bring your own flashlight and join in on the fun. Participants will walk through a trail to end up at a field filled with glowing eggs! Collect 12 and turn them in to redeem candy and a special prize.

Task:

Volunteers helping in this position may be tasked with the following items.

  • Assist program stations (may include egg hunt field, egg hunt trail, animal demonstration, and egg redemption).

Saturday. March 29, 6:30 PM-10:00 PM
Timberman Ridge MetroPark 1976 Timberman Rd, Hamilton OH 45013

Saturday. April 5, 6:30 PM-10:00 PM
Rentschler Forest MetroPark 5701 Reigart Road, Hamilton OH 45011

Weather: 

We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather.  please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.

 

Accommodations: 

The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
