Education - Summer Animals Program - Field Trip
If you are interested in helping with field trips but have not previously attended Field Trip Training, please email volunteering@yourmetroparks.net.
Event Description:
Visit with live animal ambassadors to learn what helps them survive in their environment. With these special adaptations in mind, take a nature hike to investigate their habitats and think about how you’d use those tools.
Task:
MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH REPTILES
Help set up and clean up stations, shadow staff, and assist with students during activities.

We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
