Education - Rooted Living: Wool Dyeing

Event Description:

In this interactive class, Ms. Nancy Clark introduces the science behind dyeing white fiber into red and blue hues, inspired by the American flag and the nation's 250th anniversary. Participants will apply these concepts and take home samples of their dyed yarn.

Task:

Help set up and clean up stations, shadow staff, assist with participants during activities.

Times and Locations:

Thursday, June 11, 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Chrisholm MetroPark, (8300 Bilstein Boulevard, Hamilton, OH 45015)

Weather:

We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather.  please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.

 

Accommodations: 

The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
