Naturalist & Educational Programs - Fairfield Wildflower Walk
Event Description:
Nature's in bloom, with flowers, trees, and shrubs all trying their best to attract pollinators. Hike with us to find the best spots for this seasonal display!
Task:
This opportunity is only for volunteers 18 and older
We are looking for volunteers to help serve as sweeps walking at the back of the group to ensure nobody gets separated while on the hike. and assist with tear down at the end.
Dates Times and Location:
- Saturday, April 12th 9:30 am-11:30 am, Harbin Park, Overlokk Shelter (1300 Hunter Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014)
Weather:
We will work through light rain and snow but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
