Education - Learn to Make Carrot Cake

Event Description:                                                                                                  Friends of Chrisholm's Carmon Hacker will demonstrate how she makes carrot cake from scratch using her family's special recipe. Following the demonstration, you will assemble the dry ingredients and take the mix home to add the rest of the ingredients and bake your own cake! 

Task:

Assist staff in setting up, checking in participants, and helping staff as needed during the program, and cleaning up.   

Times and Locations:

Saturday, March 21st, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm 
Chrisholm MetroPark 2070 Woodsdale Road, Trenton, OH 45067

Weather: 

We will work through light rain, but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather.  Please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.

 

Accommodations: 

The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
