Education - Summer Food Truck Program
Event Description:
The Big Blue Food Truck will be traveling to splash parks across our city, providing FREE meals for all children 18 and under from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM throughout June and July.
This is more than a meal. It is a full community experience!

Lane Public Library with the Bookmobile and activities
American Legion sharing flag etiquette and fun extras
MetroParks bringing live animals and hands on learning
Boys & Girls Clubs with engaging activities
City of Hamilton Health Department promoting healthy habits and backpack support
BCESC providing BREAK BOXES throughout the summer
Task:
Help set up and clean up stations, shadow staff, and assist with students during activities.

Weather:
We will work through light rain, but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
