Education - Mothing by the Moon
Event Description:
Ohio has over 1,000 moth species, many of which are more colorful than butterflies, and they are very important for pollinating plants. Join Elisabeth Rothschild of Ohio Lepidopterists to discover how to attract moths to your backyard and explore fun ways to identify them.
Task:
Assist staff by meeting participants, assist families during activities and help clean up.

Meadow Ridge MetroPark (5101 Circle Parkway, Middletown OH 45042)
Weather:
We will work through light rain, but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. Please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodations to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
