Education - It's for the Birds - Build a Birdhouse
Event Description:
Hone your skills and learn how to participate in Project Feeder Watch and the Great Backyard Bird Count. Build a wooden birdhouse to take home for the birds who spend time in your own backyard. All tools, hardware, and safety equipment will be provided on-site.
Dates, Times, and Location:
Saturday, Feb 7th, 12:15 pm-8:30 pm River Center at Bicentennial Commons 120 South Carmody Boulevard, Middletown OH 45044
Task:
Assist staff in setting up, checking in participants, and helping staff as needed during the program and cleaning up supplies.
Weather:
We will work through light rain and snow, but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. Please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
