Volunteering with MetroParks of Butler County

Event Description:

Thursdays - Get your feet in the water and see what critters you can find! Butler Soil & Water Conservation District and MetroParks educators will provide their expertise and everything you need for creeking.

Saturdays - What's hidden under the rocks and in the sediment of your favorite MetroParks creeks? Explore the living and fossilized creatures found in our creeks and see if you would also be proud to call these bodies of water home.

Task:

Volunteers must be 18 years or older

Help set up signs, arrange creeking materials, meet n greet, assist families exploring in the creek, safety, clean up.

No prior experience is required; knowledge of native plants, animals, insects, and minerals is a plus
