Education - Dairy Creations
Event Description:
Step back in time for a hands-on family experience that brings the story of dairy to life! In this interactive program, families will meet the dairy animals that call Chrisholm home. Then we will work together to churn our own ice cream using old-fashioned hand-crank machines and taste our creations!
Dates, Times, and Location:
Sunday, July 19th, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm Chrisholm MetroPark, 2070 Woodsdale Road, Trenton, OH 45067
Task:
Assist staff in putting up signs, meet n greet participants, assist families during activities and help clean up.
Weather:
We will work through light rain and snow but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. Please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
