Education - Fossils with MetroParks
Event Description:
Here in southwestern Ohio, the signs of ancient life are right under our feet! Join MetroParks educators in finding and identifying fossils in the creek.
Dates, Times, and Location:
Saturday, August 15th, 9:30 am-11:30 am Point Pleasant Park 2001 Resor Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014
Task:
Assist staff in setting up signs, unload/load insects, meet n greet participants, hike sweeper.
Weather:
We will work through light rain and snow but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. Please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
