Justice of the Peace
City of Prospect are looking for a Justice of the Peace to commit to a shift on the roster / schedule on Mondays or Wednesday mornings.
Applicants will need to be registered with the SA Attorney General’s Department.
We are looking for a JP that has good communication skills, is customer focused and has patience, understanding and tolerance for persons from cultural and varied backgrounds. Mentoring is available to new volunteers.

Community Bus Driver

We are looking for Volunteer Bus Drivers to transport our clients in our 12 seater bus. Volunteer community Bus Drivers assist council to provide a popular and well-utilised bus service for older residents. Volunteers drive the council's community bus on a rostered basis, taking passengers to the library, local shopping centres and on social outings.
Current Drivers Licence essential with some experience driving a large vehicle in the metropolitan area (bus licence an advantage but not essential).
You will need to have good general fitness and the ability to fulfil an active volunteer role including:-
- Good communication skills
- Patience and a friendly manner
- Ability to respect confidentiality
- Reliability and commitment to the programs roster - Weekdays - Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm - Negotiable
Interested applicants will need to commit to the program's roster / schedule, and undergo background screening checks. City of Prospect is able to facilitate the application process including costs.

Community Bus Helper

Volunteer Community Bus Helpers assist council to provide a popular and well-utilised bus service for City of Prospect and Walkerville residents. Volunteers assist on a rostered basis during weekdays 8.00am to 4pm, taking passengers to local shopping centres and on social outings.
The interested applicants will need to undergo background checks - a National Criminal History Record Check and DHS Aged Care Screening Check and be able to commit to the programs weekly roster / schedule.
Volunteers will be supporting older aged passengers to participate within community programs and assistance with shopping.
We are looking for volunteers who have:
- Good communication skills.
- Patience and friendly manner.
- Ability to respect confidentiality.
- Reliability and commitment.
- Punctuality.
Applicants must have good general fitness and the ability to fulfil an active volunteer role.

Facilitator - Craft Corner

Assist with the delivery of a program that creates a space for patrons to be creative or work on craft activities using various equipment such as a sewing machine and a Cricut Vinyl Cutter.
This role would suit applicants who have experience using a sewing machine or Cricut Vinyl Cutter and can commit to a roster / schedule for a minimum of 6 months on Wednesdays from 12pm to 2pm.
