Pastoral Care Volunteer
Ensuring the spiritual needs of our residents are accommodated is very important at Juniper.
Our Pastoral and Spiritual Care team are here for everyone in the Juniper community and can act as confidants on a wide range of subjects.
Pastoral Care Volunteers work alongside Pastoral Care staff to provide pastoral and spiritual support for customers. This may involve one-on-one visits and assisting with Pastoral Care events and activities, for example, Church, Memorial and ANZAC Services.
All Pastoral Care Volunteers must progress through a dedicated training programme conducted periodically through the year.
If you are interested in this role, please indicate this on your application form
Some of our residents live with Dementia and all volunteers are encouraged to learn more about this condition by joining the free online training available through Dementia Training Australia or at the University of Tasmanian Wicking Centre.
