Activity Assistant

Activity Assistant Volunteers help Juniper staff to deliver group activities, including arts/crafts, bingo and quizzes in our residential care facilities.
This volunteer role may include assisting with running the activity or spending time one-on-one with particular residents to enable them to participate more fully.

As a Juniper Volunteer, you'll be well supported by Juniper staff, so you won’t feel out of your depth. We are also eager to learn about any unique skills you might have that would captivate our residents.

Some of our residents live with Dementia and all volunteers are encouraged to learn more about this condition by joining the free online training available through Dementia Training Australia or at the University of Tasmanian Wicking Centre.
