Activity Assistant

Volunteers can help Juniper staff to deliver group activities, including arts/crafts, bingo, quizzes in our residential care facilities.

This volunteer role may include assisting with running the activity or spending time one-on-one with particular residents to enable them to participate more fully.

As a Juniper Volunteer, you'll be well supported by Juniper staff so you don't feel out of your depth, and they will also be pleased to hear of your own special talents that you can bring to trigger the interest of our residents.

Some of our residents live with dementia and all volunteers are encouraged to learn more about this disease by joining the world class, free online training available at the University of Tasmanian Wicking Centre.
