For your interview (should you be selected) , it would be helpful for you to research about CapitalCare, "Person Centered Care”, and about long term care residents who live in our centers. Following interviews I do provide you with a formal letter addressed to the law enforcement in our area in order for you to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Search Certificate for volunteering. I will also provide you with CapitalCare reference form in order for you to obtain two references. Your orientation will take place once you have indicated to me that you are in possession of your criminal vulnerable sector search and the two completed reference forms. Your orientation date and time options are based on our mutual availability.
Your application is important to us and the residents who live at CapitalCare, please be patient. Residents who live at CapitalCare rely on every available volunteer we can get. If I am unable to get to your application within two or three weeks from you applying, please email me directly. email@example.com
FYI- Please check your emails even in your junk folder. I respond and book appointments for interviews and orientations via the email you have provided, very rarely by phone. Depending on my schedule, application process can take up to three weeks. During COVID, perhaps longer.
SUMMER YOUTH 2022: This year Grandview is facilitating a slightly modified summer youth program. The SYV program will consist of `35 dedicated students who are able to contribute 40+ hours during the summer months. Priority consideration will be to returning dedicated Summer Youth Volunteers who have completed the minimum required hours from 2019. Dedicated external applicants will then be considered to make up the difference. Our Summer Youth Volunteer Coordinator this year is Nivas.Malaiaiyan@capitalcare.net
Take care and hope to see you volunteering soon!
On behalf of the Residents who call CapitalCare home, Thank you!
