Thank you for applying to become a registered volunteer! Please note that I am fulltime but I work between two sites, Grandview and CapitalCare Strathcona which is in Sherwood Park.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8-4 - CC Grandview

Thursday and Friday 8-4 at CC Strathcona

Please ensure you fill out the application form completely and indicate your availability ( meaning days you can possibly come in to assist) Weekly volunteering is desirable.

Grandview SUMMER YOUTH VOLUNTEERING: Applicants ages 12 - 20 ish Please ensure you have  indicated "Summer Youth Volunteer" on your application. All applicants within the age range who are only available to volunteer during the summer months will be forwarded to the Summer Youth Program. You will be contacted mid to late May early June usually VIA email by dorothy.chacinski@capitalcare.net to arrange for your interview if our application has been selected.  Preference will go to applicants who are able to complete 30 hours minimum over the summer months. Regular weekly weekday attendance is required.

Applicants: you will need to remember your username and password that you used to create your application for later once you are registered to be able to sign in an out each time you volunteer.

We are a Long Term Care Center, it would be helpful if you did some research about CapitalCare and the residents who live here. Also research some knowledge about "Person Centered Care" .

Your application is important to us, please be patient.

FYI-  We book appointments for interviews and orientations via the email you have provided.
