Role Title: Storytime Helper

Location: Beaverton City Library Main 12375 SW 5th St., Beaverton OR 97005

Before applying, please check that you’re available for a needed shift:

  • Mornings

Time Commitment:

  • We ask volunteers to make an initial 3-month commitment.
  • Number of hours per week: 2-4
  • Schedule Tuesdays from 9:30-10:45 am

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist with setting up the Storytime space and organizing materials.
  • Support the storyteller by helping manage transitions, props, or simple activities.
  • Welcome families and help create a warm, engaging environment for young listeners.

Your presence makes programs run smoothly, helps children feel welcomed, and contributes to a vibrant community space where young learners can grow and thrive.
