Swiss Village Healthcare - One-on-One Activities/Visitor
Description:
- Spend time and visit with residents
- Read to residents
- Play games and do puzzles
- Write letters, Christmas cards, emails, life stories, etc.
- Take the resident on wheelchair strolls
- Assist staff as needed
Time Commitment:
- Normally 30 minutes to an hour
- Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, or As Needed
Requirements:
- Be at least 10 years old without adult supervision
- Be at least 12 years old to push a wheelchair
- Truly care for elderly adults
- If volunteering 10 hours or more each week you must complete a 2-step TB test when you begin volunteering and an annual TB test each year (recommended for all volunteers regardless of how many hours you are volunteering)
