1. Public Engagement - Himalayan Balsam pulling - Trotton Wildflower Meadow

Eco Rother Action and PeCAN are seeking volunteers to help with Himalayan Balsam pulling along our local waterways. Himalayan Balsam is an invasive plant species threatening our rivers. This weed tends to shade out other native species and when it dies back leaves waterway banks bare and vulnerable to erosion.

Meet: Trotton wildflower meadow, at the junction of Terwick Lane/Dumpford Lane with Trotton Road.  Parking information will be share on arrival. Please arrive at 9.50 for a 10.00 am start.

What to Bring: drinking water, hat, sunscreen, gardening gloves, weather appropriate clothes and sturdy shoes/walking boots. We recommend wearing long-sleeved tops and full-length trousers.
