Make a Difference Where You Camp! Become a Campground Host!

Do you enjoy the outdoors, meeting new people, and giving back to your community? Join our team as a volunteer Campground Host with San Diego County Parks! As a host, you’ll live on-site in your RV or trailer and help us welcome guests, share information, and keep the campground safe and clean.

In exchange for at least 20 volunteer hours per week, you’ll receive a free campsite with full hookups (electricity, water, sewer). Hosts assist with tasks like greeting campers, encouraging park rule compliance, performing light maintenance and janitorial, and being a helpful presence when staff are off-site.

Applicants must have a self-contained motorhome or travel trailer in good condition and be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
