The Salvation Army - Kent County

Objective: To provide assistance in unloading and organizing product for the Food Pantry

Specific Tasks:

-Unload and stock food products onto shelves
-Unload and stock food products into freezer/refrigerator
-Dispose of trash and cardboard boxes as needed
- Assist Essential Services Coordinator as needed

Qualifications:

- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift minimum of 30 pounds
- Positive Attitude
- Legible writing

Time Commitment:

Our pantry is open Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., even during the lunch hour. We are in need of volunteers who can commit to working at least one 4-hour shift per week. Volunteers are needed all five days during all open hours, but the greatest need at this time is on Mondays and Fridays.
