The Children's Museum of Sonoma County needs all of us!
Creating fun, exciting, formative experiences for all Sonoma County's children, regardless of how much their families can pay, is a community effort. Volunteers generously donate their time, talents, and love to make this possible.

Do you enjoy being creative and working with children? Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? The Children's Museum is looking for responsible, reliable, and energetic individuals to be a part of our Volunteer program. This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference in our community and mentor young children.

What do volunteers do at the Children's Museum?

Help Kids Play!
Working among our visitors, these volunteers join in the fun, keep things safe and clean, and
provide direction and guidance.

Lead Activities!
Setting up and leading art projects, science activities, and directed play, these volunteers
help kids enjoy through doing.

Use Tools!
Hundreds of thousands of visitors each year means there is always something to fix, to paint,
to trim, to clean. These volunteers work with Museum staff to constantly improve our Facilities
and Exhibits.

Share Nature!
Kids love dirt, water, plants, and animals. These volunteers share our gardens and grounds, and
the critters that call them home, with Sonoma County's youngest naturalists.

Celebrate!
The Children's Museum has a full calendar of events! These volunteers welcome, guide, and
entertain visitors so we can throw a great party.
