My Sister's Place Women's Center is a day resource center for women and children experiencing homelessness and/or poverty in Baltimore City. We create an community center where women can access basic life needs, such as showers and meals, and take the next steps through additional services of case management, therapy, professional and life skills workshops, and more.
We are currently offering virtual and remote volunteer opportunities only. After you have completed the application process, please check the "Opportunities" tab to view information on how you can support our program while staying at home to help protect our vulnerable neighbors.
We will also continue to keep our website updated with our donation needs at https://www.catholiccharities-md.org/services/my-sisters-place-womens-center/ if you know others who want to support, but are not members of our portal. This website will also list donation hours and location.
Thank you for your continued support - because of you, we have been able to continue meals, laundry, case management, and therapy services for our neighbors in Baltimore City, even through a pandemic.
Donations provide us with the supplies we need to provide life-saving services, below are our current donation needs:
Any items not listed will not be accepted during donation drop off due to limited storage space.
Meal service sponsors/donors pledge to provide food for one designated meal service (as of 4/19/21, one meal service receives 50 guests), and drop food off the day before.
Meals can be made at home or catered from a restaurant. Our team can package up into to-go boxes, or they can be donated pre-boxed.
