Adopt-A-Stream - Stream Cleanup! Cottonwood Creek
Volunteer with Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful to clean up Cottonwood Creek! This is a water-based cleanup where volunteers collect litter in the creek from inside of their kayak. Kayaks and life vests are generously provided to volunteers by North Texas River Runners (NTRR) for this event. However, paddlers may bring their own kayak, canoe, etc. if they choose to.
Please sign up on BetterImpact by Wednesday, November 4, 2026. This helps us ensure enough kayaks are reserved for all volunteers.

After loading, volunteers will need to move vehicles to Hobbs Williams Elementary for parking. Address: 1635 SE 14th Street
Volunteers will check in at the loading zone to sign in and review safety practices before getting in the water.
