GP Litter Team - Neighborhood Cleanup - 12/12/26
Join Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful for an afternoon of community service as we work together to clean up the neighborhood and help keep Grand Prairie beautiful!
Volunteers will spend the afternoon collecting litter along neighborhood roadways and sidewalks. Whether you live nearby, work in the area, or simply want to spend a few hours giving back to the community, we’d love to have you join us!
What to Expect
Check-in and parking:
Please meet at the Dalworth Recreation Center at 2:00 PM to check in and pick up supplies. The address is
KGPB will provide the cleanup supplies, including:
- Litter grabbers
- Trash bags
- Safety vests
- Gloves
Volunteers are also welcome to bring their own cleanup supplies if they prefer.
After checking in, volunteers will head out into the surrounding neighborhood to collect litter. At the end of the cleanup, please return to the Dalworth Recreation Center parking lot by 4:00 PM to check out and return any KGPB supplies.
Please Come Prepared
This is an outdoor volunteer activity that will involve walking, standing, bending, and picking up litter. For your comfort and safety, please wear:
- Closed-toe shoes
- Long pants
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Comfortable clothing suitable for walking and outdoor work
We also encourage volunteers to bring a water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the event.
KGPB will pick up all collected litter at the end of the event to dispose of it at the landfill after volunteers check-out.
