Mi Familia Park Litter Cleanup
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful!
Join us on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM for a community litter cleanup at Mi Familia Park. Volunteers will work alongside the Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful team to help keep the park clean, welcoming, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
Location:
Mi Familia Park
2402 Cardiff St, Grand Prairie 75051
Check-In:
Volunteers should arrive and check in with the KGPB Coordinator at the parking lot near the pavilion promptly at 8:00 AM. After check-in, we will have a brief safety orientation, distribute cleanup supplies, and get started.
What to Expect:
Volunteers will help collect litter throughout designated areas of Mi Familia Park. KGPB will provide all necessary cleanup supplies, including:
- Gloves
- Litter grabbers
- Trash bags
- Other supplies needed for the cleanup
What to Bring and Wear:
- Closed-toe shoes are required.
- Comfortable clothing appropriate for outdoor work is recommended.
- Please bring a water to stay hydrated throughout the cleanup.
- Sun protection, such as sunscreen, a hat, or sunglasses, is encouraged.
