Main Street Festival Litter Cleanup

Main Street Festival is coming this October, and we’d love your help keeping Grand Prairie clean and beautiful throughout the festivities!

Volunteers will help pick up litter in the areas surrounding the festival, with a special focus on nearby parking lots and surrounding areas. By working together, we can help ensure that Main Street Festival remains a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Check-In Location

Volunteers should check in at the parking lot of the Grand Prairie Parks, Arts, and Recreation Building:

400 College St.
Grand Prairie, TX 75050

Supplies Provided

After checking in, volunteers will be assigned an area to clean and provided with the supplies they need, including:

• Litter grabbers

• Gloves

• High-visibility safety vests

• Trash bags

A brief safety overview and cleanup instructions will also be provided before volunteers begin.

What to Wear & Bring

Please come prepared for an outdoor cleanup. We recommend wearing:

• Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing

• Closed-toe shoes

• Pants or other clothing appropriate for outdoor activity

• Sunscreen and a hat, as needed

• Water to stay hydrated

Volunteers should be comfortable walking and standing outdoors for approximately two hours while picking up litter.
