9th Annual Fish Creek Cleanup Challenge

Join Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful and volunteers from across Grand Prairie and Arlington for the 9th Annual Fish Creek Cleanup Challenge! Individuals, families, and groups are invited to help collect as much trash as possible from Fish Creek and help keep our waterways clean and litter-free.

Over the past eight years, volunteers have removed more than 70,000 pounds of trash from the creek across Arlington and Grand Prairie. With your help, we can collect even more!

Check-In Location

Volunteers should check in with the Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful team at the green tent near the trailhead.

Cleanup Supplies

After checking in, volunteers will receive the supplies needed for the cleanup, including:

• Litter grabbers
• Trash bags
• Gloves
• Other necessary cleanup supplies

What to Wear

Because this cleanup will take place in January and volunteers will be working in and around the creek, please dress appropriately for cold and potentially wet conditions.

All volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes. Rain boots or other waterproof footwear are highly recommended. We also encourage volunteers to wear long sleeves, pants, and appropriate cold-weather clothing.

Come prepared to get outside, get a little dirty, and help make a difference in our community!
