The Knox Dementia Alliance

The purpose of the Knox Dementia Alliance is to transform Knox into a dementia-friendly community by challenging stigma, enhancing the voices of those living with dementia and their caregivers, and organising cross-community action.

We are seeking expressions of interest for membership to the Knox Dementia Alliance and its Core Group. We want to ensure that people with dementia remain visible, valued, and fully included in community life, creating a Knox where no one faces dementia alone.

We strongly encourage people with dementia of all ages and carers of people living with dementia to register. Registrations are also sought from health and aged services, community organisations, seniors groups, neighbourhood houses, local business and other bodies interested in creating a more dementia friendly community.
