Did you know The Salvation Army is one of the largest human service providers in the world? Our Mission is to meet human needs in God's name without discrimination. And our work wouldn't be possible without the generous support of our many community partners, donors and volunteers.
The Salvation Army Norfolk Corps is currently looking for volunteers to assist in the thrift store in various roles and pick up donations from locally partnered stores. Store pick ups do require an MVR and insurance on file if you choose to drive your own vehicle. We are also in search of a volunteer translator to assist with social services appointments, and a food pantry assistant during pantry hours. Students needing to log hours for school classes are always welcome, volunteer opportunities are always changing and we are in need of more volunteers every day!
