Lots of energy and a love for people? Your job is to ensure the safety of those watching the parade. Ensure no spectators are encroaching onto the parade route. Children are not permitted to dart out onto the street. Ensure all spectators are respectful of the barricades and road closures and do not enter the parade route with their vehicle before the road has been reopened at the end of the parade. It is your job to be well informed of the length of the parade, when the roads will open and safe exit routes for vehicles and pedestrians after the parade ends. Please be sure to have checked in with the Volunteer coordinator, obtained a safety vest and instructions regarding where you will be placed. Most important is to have fun and make sure you are polite and considerate to those out to enjoy the event.
