Volunteer Airdrie

This Committee is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that Volunteer Airdrie is using best practices for non-profit governance, designing Board training and development plans, recruiting and developing Board members for succession planning purposes, organizational strategic planning reviews and the development of an Emergency Response and Business Continuity Plan.  In addition, this Committee will ensure compliance with all municipal, provincial and federal laws, including the submission and approval of all annual regulatory returns, Board member changes and bylaw amendments. Works collaboratively with other committees to draft policies as needed or amend/update existing policies as necessary.

This committee currently meets monthly for 1 hour on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. via Teams.
