Parade - 2025 Parade Contingents Staging Volunteer
Overview: Parade Contingent Staging Volunteers help ensure that parade contingents are properly staged and ready for step-off. This role is perfect for those who enjoy traffic direction, engaging with the public, and assisting parade participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure each parade contingent is set up in their designated location.
- Confirm that contingent placards are visible.
- Assist participants in locating their assigned staging area.
- Support the parade team in directing contingents to the step-off line once the parade begins.
- Interact with the general public and answer questions as needed.
Location: Hillcrest; Check-In at the Parade Volunteer Check-in (exact location to be announced).
Requirements:
- Comfortable directing foot and vehicle traffic.
- Ability to move around for the duration of the shift.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Training or Support:
- General volunteer info sessions prior to the Parade will be available.
- Brief on-site training will be provided at the start of the shift.
- Parade team members will be available for support throughout the shift.
