San Diego Pride

When our Festival guests take a break from the event or leave for the day, help us make sure they have that great post-Pride feeling as they leave our wonderful festivities. 

• Working with the Supervisor for the Festival Exit, Festival Exit Volunteers will: 

  • Bid a friendly farewell and well wishes to all Festival guests as they exit

  • Ensure all guests make it through Exit as quickly and safely as possible

  • Attend a training session by Supervisor/Specialist(s) prior to working at the Festival

  • Work a 5-hour shift which requires standing for long periods of time and being mobile

  • Direct returning guests to scan their tickets for re-entry (same day)

  • Help keep a running tally (hand counter) of guests leaving

  • Assist the Supervisor(s) when/where needed
