SUMMARY:  

All SacPride volunteers are required to attend an orientation annually.

The orientation will include:

• The history of Pride and of Pride in Sacramento
• SacPride 2026 March and Festival details
• Why volunteers are essential
• What to expect as a volunteer
• How to sign up for shifts and log hours
• Details about training and background check requirements
• Best practices for interacting with diverse populations
• The chance to ask questions.

ALL ORIENTATIONS ARE IN PERSON, HOSTED IN THE COMMUNITY ROOM IN OUR TEMPORARY LOCATION 2031 K ST.
