Role Tasks & Responsibilities

Advertising new volunteering vacancies

Reviewing applications, interviewing and conducting reference checks 

Getting new volunteers onboard, giving them  the information they need and putting them in touch with the right team members

Keeping volunteer admin up to date

Who we’re looking for

The ideal Volunteer Co-ordinator will be experienced in recruitment of volunteers or staff

They will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident delivering the POW message

They will have experience working on their own initiative and taking ownership of a project or task

They will have a personal commitment to the mission and values of Protect Our Winters and a drive to support others to take effective action

Time Commitment

Time commitment for this role is expected to be around 3 hours per week, however this can fluctuate depending on the season and recruitment needs
