Join our transportation volunteer team at Kerrisdale, Oakridge, Marpole Better at Home Program! 

If you have two hours or more each week to spare, we could really use your help!  We have many diverse seniors (lots in their eighties and nineties) who need some assistance getting to their medical appointments.  You would pick them up at home, drive them to the appointment, wait (or grab a coffee) and drive them home again.  The coordinator manages the schedule and will send you an email one week in advance to see if you can do a ride.  You simply say yes or no!  

Duties: Pick up senior at their home, drive to appointment, return when appointment is finished. 

Compensation: We can cover the cost of increasing your insurance to 3 million third party liability. Volunteers can receive compensation for their mileage and parking.

Time Commitment: 4 hours per month
