Role Overview
As a Volunteer Philanthropy & Community Engagement Assistant, you’ll support fundraising, communications, and community engagement projects. This role is ideal for someone interested in nonprofit work, donor relations, marketing, or event planning who wants to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with donor stewardship and fundraising campaigns
- Support social media, newsletters, and website updates
- Help plan and deliver community and volunteer events
- Provide light administrative and project support, including data entry
Skills & Interests
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Interest in fundraising, communications, or event planning
- Able to work during daytime hours at our office location in central Vancouver
- Comfortable with social media and basic digital tools (an asset, not required)
