Foster an animal in your home

There are many different reasons people foster. It is a rewarding experience not just for the person but for the animal as well. As a foster you are welcoming a PRAS shelter animal(s) into your home. PRAS provides all fosters with the appropriate supplies for the species animal they are fostering. PRAS does require all fosters to live at least 1 hour from the shelter and to be able to bring the animal back for all needed Veterinary appointments.
There are many reasons animals are placed in foster care. Some not all can be that are to young to thrive in shelter (our neonate/ baby kittens and puppies), behavioral (they aren't having a positive experience in shelter and are to stressed), medical (this can vary from over weight, hospice care, to surgical recovery needs), special needs (exotics that we don't typically have the appropriate housing for, etc)
