Volunteers are often the first friendly face our visitors will encounter on arrival. They set a welcoming scene and create anticipation for the visit to come. Positive and helpful, knowledgeable and informative, with a willingness to make everyone’s day special, these are the key attributes of all volunteers who take up this important role.
Shifts are from 10 am to 4 pm each day from Monday to Sunday. Volunteers must meet a minimum 12 month commitment of at least:
- one shift per fortnight
Please note that we operate a roster where people commit to a regular weekly or fortnightly shift – for example: weekly on a Monday or the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. We are unable to accommodate ad hoc rostering.
People who are available weekends and school holidays will be highly regarded.
