The affluence most people see in Western St Charles County masks the reality of the poverty that is hidden in our area. The Salvation Army, O’Fallon is called upon to inspire hope to our neighbors, but we can not do it alone. Your willingness to support our mission enables us to provide food, shelter, clothing, along with compassion to families in crisis within our community.

We rely on volunteers to operate the food pantry. Families choose their groceries, dairy, fresh vegetables and fruit, meat, canned goods, and bread. Approximately 1300 persons, from families ranging in size from 1 person to 9, shop each month.
Bell ringing represents over 22% of our annual operating budget. In 2017, we were assisted in our kettle efforts by 102 individual volunteers and volunteer groups who rang the bell for a total of 1438 hours. In 2018, 152 bell ringers completing 1456 hours of service.
