Act for Kids is very grateful for all of the support we receive from our volunteers. Volunteers are a vital part of our team; they’re an extension of our workforce and inspire us daily with their commitment to our work. Without their support, we would not have been able to have changed the lives of thousands of Aussie kids across the past 30 years.

Act for Kids is a for-purpose organisation that delivers evidence-led professional therapy and support services to children and families who have experienced or are at risk of harm.
We operate with 30 centres across Australia, and through prevention, treatment, research, education and advocacy, we have helped hundreds of thousands of children and families since 1988.
Volunteers will help run the Christmas Wrapping stands at each shopping centre, where they will wrap pressies and share some Christmas joy this season.
Three to four-hour shifts will be available during the day, late nights and weekends. Please note that kids under the age of 16 will need to have an adult present.
The North Lakes Black Christmas Gift Wrap will run from 16 December to 24 December 2024.
The Toowong Christmas Gift Wrap will run from 16 December to 24 December 2024.
