City of Port Coquitlam - Skating & Bike Programs

Skate Lobby Host 

Greet and welcome participants of our Learn to Skate programs at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) in the arena/skate shop area of the building. Act a support in the lobby by helping tie skates and fastening helmets. Assist in the skate shop with restocking and sanitizing equipment.  

Time: 3:45pm to 6:15pm

Location: Rink 3 (Purple Arena) Port Coquitlam Community Centre 
2150 Wilson Ave
Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 6J5

Volunteer duties will include: 

• Greet and welcome program participants, customers, and visitors as they enter the building
• Assist skate shop staff with sanitizing and replenishing equipment
• Direct visitors with questions about program registrations to the Customer Service Desk
• Help participants to ties skates and secure helmets

Please bring/wear appropriate clothing and equipment for this program.

• Volunteer T-Shirt
• Comfortable clothing you can move around in
• Closed toe footwear (running shoes)
• A water bottle and snack
