Life Together Team
The Life Together Volunteer plays a vital role in supporting survivors of human trafficking as they rebuild their lives in safety, dignity, and community. This volunteer fosters healthy connection, empowerment, and belonging by accompanying survivors in daily activities, life skills development, and community engagement. The role centres on being a consistent, compassionate presence rather than providing formal counselling or case management.
Transportation Team
This typically includes picking up or dropping off residents from work, school, and or volunteering in the community. Drive Team members can commit to a regular transportation need or volunteer to drive on a case-by-case basis. Volunteer 101 training plus 1 additional training is required.
Indirect Service Team
You enjoy volunteering behind the scenes to help with planning events, fundraising, maintenance, marketing, IT, gardening, and administration.

Awareness to Sex Trafficking
Learn about what sex trafficking is, the signs of it, and root causes. Learn how SEEDS is shining a light on the darkness of trafficking and how you can make an impact.
Core Values Training
Core Values Training is important for all volunteers to complete so we can provide a strong and united support for survivors.
Compassion Fatigue Training
Compassion Fatigue Training equips volunteers with the tools to cope with the effects of consistently supporting individuals facing traumatic stress. This program focuses on preventing compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and post-traumatic stress. Participants will explore key concepts such as recognizing compassion fatigue and assessing their own risk, preparing for emotional responses when engaging with survivors, distinguishing between compassion fatigue and burnout, and discovering effective coping strategies.
CSEC 101 Training
CSEC 101 course gives an in depth look at the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC), designed to help participants better understand this issue and modern-day slavery as a whole. This course covers US laws, the role of vulnerability, the common recruitment tactics of traffickers and how demand drives this illicit business.
