Park Ranger District - Chollas Lake Park

Environmental volunteers help keep City of San Diego open spaces and facilities clean, beautiful and welcoming. Volunteers assist with projects such as litter abatement, spreading of mulch, removing overgrown brush, non-native plant removal, and indoor beautification. 

One-time special event volunteers assist with dances and community events at parks, recreation centers, libraries, visitor centers, and open space parks and preserves. They assist with set-up, clean-up, decorating, guest check-in, lead activities and crafts, serving of refreshments, and program information.
