Commodities - Commodity Day Box Distribution

Join us in making a difference in the lives of seniors! The Salvation Army is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help distribute food boxes as part of the Commodities Supplemental Food Program. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and ensure that seniors receive the support they need.

Volunteers will assist with food distribution on the second Thursday of each month. The shifts are from 10:00am to Noon and 1:00pm to 3:00pm, with volunteers asked to arrive at 9:45am for the morning shift or 1:00pm for the afternoon shift.

We’re currently looking for three volunteers for the morning shift and three volunteers for the afternoon shift. You’ll be helping pack and distribute food to seniors in need, so being able to lift up to 30lbs is a key requirement.
