City of Oshkosh - Parks

Children and their families will join the Oshkosh Parks for a pancake breakfast and a morning full of fun, games and an egg hunt at the Sunnyview Expo Center.

This year the event will be hosted as one event. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available.  We even have an opening for a Bunny mascot!

Residents and visitors alike will join the Oshkosh Parks in celebrating our local breweries and enjoying live music, a beer garden and various food trucks in Rainbow Memorial Park (1650 Rainbow Dr.).

A night out for the adults to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume and enjoy local craft beers, a costume contest, food trucks, raffles and live music in the Menominee Park Zoo (520 Pratt Trail).

Volunteers will assist with preparations for upcoming events.  This could entail setup (tables, chairs, etc.), filling goodie bags or baskets, cutting out items to assemble for crafts, and more.

Kids and their families will learn about the dairy industry here in Wisconsin. There will be games, activities and even samples!

Volunteers will assist various landscaping tasks (mulching, weeding, painting, shore or park cleanup, etc.).

Celebrate Mardi Gras, waterpark-style, at our Mardi Gras Splash Party, where vibrant colors, festive music, and nonstop fun take over the park. Dive into the excitement with high-energy slides, lively polls, and a party atmosphere inspired by the spirit of New Orleans.

Everyone is welcome for our FREE outdoor movie night at the Leach Amphitheater (303 Ceape Ave.).  Enjoy a movie under the star, games, food trucks and other family friendly activities.

Pollock Community Water Park seasonal pass holders will enjoy an evening on us at the pool with games, prizes and more (1550 Taft Ave.).

Kids will grab the mic, make a splash, and sing their hearts out at our Poolside Karaoke Party!  Whether they are a shower-singer, a pop-star-in-the-making, or just there to cheer on their friends, this high-energy event is all about fun, music, and summer vibes.  They will take the spot light poolside and belt out their favorite hits while friends relax in the water, float along, or dance on the deck.  With upbeat tunes, crowd favorites, and plenty of opportunities for group sing-alongs, the atmosphere stays lively throughout the event.  No pressure- just good vibes, great music, and unforgettable moments!  

2026 will make the 250th Anniversary of American Independence and the 250th Fourth of July, a milestone being celebrated across the entire nation! Come celebrate summer and patriotism, with a star-spangled day of fun at our Red, White, and Blue Splash! The waterpark will come alive with festive colors, upbeat music, and all-American excitement for guests of every age.

Kids and their families can camp out under the stars with their favorite animals in the Menominee Park Zoo (520 Pratt Trail).  Volunteer will assist with serving dinner, watching the campfire and helping with smores!

Families can enjoy hands-on activities, games, building projects, and more all while exploring vehicles of all shapes and sizes at the Leach Amphitheater (303 Ceape Ave.). Volunteers will assist as runners, gate attendants, game attendants and truck monitors.
